Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

I still play every Wednesday night in Durham NC at City Beverage. You are all invited. Its very backwoods so I must chose my songs carefully.

I tend to get leaf fever like clockwork every October 1st. Previous destinations have included Helen, GA, Gatlinburg, TN and Banner Elk, NC. Each time, due to the kids' school vacation schedules, I have very effectively missed the peaking of the colors.
I'm thinking of heading up again, if I can afford gas at $6 per gallon by then.

Hmmm, I remember that Applause guitar, a fake Ovation.... and it was mine... which once again shows me that Dennis was using my stuff when I wasn't around... I'm telling Mom...

I loved that guitar, I took it to college. It was my Cherry Wood guitar, Joe, remember, I wrote a song about it called "Bury Me With My Cherrywood Guitar" I play it Wednesday nights in Durham. Come on down and bring some Kentucky Windage.

I'd love to come to the City Beverage open jam, it sounds like a blast... I have a few good guitars now, so I'll bring you a real one...
