Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!
This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.
Well only by a few months. Amberlee-- May 31, 1987. However for you, you were there and I was not. Missing most of her life sucks. It is what it is and you know that story. However i will be the first Grandparent among us. Great pictures by the way and she is a beutiful kid. Where did that come from?????;-)
Luckily, she missed out on being 7 foot tall like most of your family. It's sad but I think this post is the most I've seen of her, except for that time our kids jumped around on that trampoline.
And Ed, I don't know that particular story but at least it does seem to have a happy ending (or you could call it the middle)
OH, I was there alright. She came out looking like a rubber chicken. All bent in places she shouldn't have been!!!!
The second greatest moment in my life. The first was the next day, when i picked her up and held her for the first time. You know, girls are pain in the asses, but when they slip thier arm under yours and put thier head on your shoulder......you melt like butta!
Ed, having children is great. Especially babies. Its always a gift from God. And he never gives us more than we can handle. I can change dirty diapers with one hand. The sign of the modern gunslinger.
Baby Brother Steve, I have three girls and one boy. Melt like butter; absolutely correct. Can I be a contributor too bro?
Incidentally, this weekend, my kids and I filmed "GIANT BIRD MONSTER." We make science fiction films as a family. I was deeply inspired by MOnter in the woods WHEN WE WERE KIDS and your costume still inspires (Stocking mask-works every time).
So my films are as follows;
1) MONSTER IN THE WOODS (Redux) 2) IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA 3) IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE MOUNTAIN 4) GIANT BIRD MONSTER
I still have to edit GIANT BIRD MONSTER, but the dailies looked real good.
STEVE FGH- My son has autism. This has been challenging for my wife and me for 15 years. But we are active in associations and groups and do the best we can. My son has a form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome, which is particularly interesting. Anyway, I love him very much. He's a hoot. He played a key role in GIANT BIRD MONSTER (He did the back story of a Harpie's Treasure, which gave it some depth. Jane, my 11 year old was the monster. She stood on a table outside the window at night in a bird costume. I filmed from the floor level so she looked like 12 feet tall on film. It makes a noise like a giant chicken- Piccaw! Its funny.
I'll send pictures of my kids if someone can tell me how to do that?
I think once Sully adds you as a contributor, you will be able to follow the instructions. When you add a new post, you get a MS Outlook sort of window which includes a little "Add Picture" icon.
I think we're all on the contributors list because he already had our emails when he set this thing up.
Sorry DZ, didn't realize you were never officially "invited".
I'm sure your son is in good hands with you, your wife, and his sisters.
I have the "Monster" Film. I'll put it on the site when i have time. I still have that stocking. I have never been as handsome since. And you, my friend, have never squeezed red dye out of sandwich bag with such skill, and professionalism before!!!!!!!!!!
