Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!
This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Does anyone know who this Santa is?
Here is one for you all, does anyone of you know who this is? I know. but do you. I'll give you a hint it is someone dad. but who?
1)The date is mid 1960's 2)He's comming through front door, which means he knows & is friendly with the occupants 3)His hieght is about 5'10" 4)He doesn't have long natural hair. 5)He is wearing a gold platted, silver band watch. 6)He is trying to pick his nose, while giving someone the finger.
Hmmmmm, the person is:
Mr. Leap.
I would have said Mr Haltigan, but he seems too short. Mr Jean seems too obvious.
I love that all of you are getting together on the "Friends of Prospect Place" so hey - I lived on Sunrise Ave (even though I am one of the elders) I know Stephen I wasn't one of you're kiddy crowd but I'd like to guess who's the Santa in the picture if that's OK with Lori (and I'm sure it is because Lori is family....)
I think the Santa is:
Mr. Ronosis (Sorry I don't know how to spell their name - Alan and Sandy's Dad) LOL
Because I think Mr. Leap was a bigger man then the guy in the picture.
Love you Lori - give our Great-Nephew Kyle a big kiss for me!
I'm thinking that Santa is the same guy who was at my house every year and every morning. I believe that its my dad. Unless my mom had a boyfriend we don't know about. The eyes give it away for me. Thats who i'm going with.
I remember those days, and Eddie is right, thats your dad. You're Mom did do it one year, according to my sainted Irish Mother. My Parents are in town this week from Vegas, and will be here for dinner tonight, I will confirm this with them when they get here later.

I'm a little late, but I wan't thinking Ed's dad too. Leap was big and fair-skinned, no?
I still believe in Santa. But if I had to guess I would say Mr. Jean. That looks like the Jean's front door.
I'm changing my vote. I too think it's eds dad. I thought about that this morning....honest!
I just figured Mr Leap was a little thinner when he was younger.
OK, Mom and Dad were just here. The only parent that played Santa in our youth was Ed's Dad. So thats who it is...
Well Eddie your the winner it is your father and it was at my house . I like these poles they are pretty cold, like to hear what everyone has to say.
And I've got to say, Ed's dad is the creepiest Santa since that "Tales from the Crypt" movie in the 70s.
