Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Indiana Jones and Ironman

I saw Indiana Jones and the Case For Geriatrics. I liked it but it made my skin crawl.
I saw Iron Man as well. Took all the kids and their friends ages 5 to 15. I was the only one who understood how ironic it is that he is playing the role of Tony Stark, but what is really cool is that the kids liked it a lot and think RD Jr. is a super hero.

We saw Ironman, and Indy too. Yeah, as far as Indy is concerned, it is what it is. It was fun, but far fetched even for Dr. Jones. Sandy had NEVER seen any in the Indy series. So i sat her down to watch the one & only Raiders before we saw the new sequel. She wasn't impressed. Sad. It has dated slightly, but it's a shame the kids(or sandy for that matter) won't really know how awesome, and ground breaking Raiders was. I haven't given up on her yet.I think she might like #3 better because of the chemistry between Ford & Connery.

On the other hand, I thought Ironman was excellent.

Among my favorite lines was "Sorry. I was doing a piece for Vanity Fair."

Piece. Get it?
