Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Skateboards, Skateboards, and more Skateboards LOL.

Eddie, you were a trailblazer at that time. I NEVER got a skateboard. Not me! I NEVER followed the pack!

Truth is, it's only because i didn't have money to follow LOL! Lori, you are the picture Goddess! Did you carry a camera in your pocket book all the time.

Dennis, was that jacket plastic? I had a parker like Stabiles.

Hey Ed, remember the days when you were the tallest.LOL

This is a great photo. I like the birdbath without a top and those amazingly resilient metal garbage cans. Lori your photo collection is outstanding.

LOL Dm

Ed, looks like your vest came from the 5 & Dime store uptown.

Perhaps your REAL father was the Malboro Man.

"I'm a cowboy on a wooden horse I ride"

That's one hell of a picture. I agree with DZ about you're photo selection it keeps making me smile-----a lot.
I think i'll have to start downloading all these photos for my own archives of memories. One pic I stuck on my wifes background she laughs every time she turns on her system.
This blog always makes my day.
Do we dare share this with our kids?????
-- Stullyo-i'm starting to wonder who my dad really was. Maybe he's in Texas somewhere on a longhorn ranch. ;-)
O'h by the way I still have two vests from my dad that was probably his when we lived in LI. There great for camping.

What's funny is how your cowboy outfit never seemed out of place to us up there in the suburbs of New York City.
