Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!
This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Where have you gone Dwight Yokum?
Haven't heard from you in a while. Busy moving perhaps.
I did post but man was it lengthy. I pulled it not to bore people with my dribble. The house is going along. Its getting used to the new digs, the new commute and my son is turning 15 on the second (tomorrow) Lots of buying of stuff that we left behind. However the good Lord has seen that the stuff we left behind in RI has been left behind for us here, and some. Nice. I'll catch up soon, its almost time to bug out of work and drive the gauntlet home. If I don't hit the Narrows bridge by a certain time, its a long commute home. Soon...
Good blog bro. I get a good image of all your activities. I like the helicopter and Mount Rainier. The first time I saw Mt. Rainier I was in Seattle on the balcony of the hotel room. And I looked up and thought- wow those clouds look wierd. And then my eyes adjusted and I said, those aren't clouds, that's snow all the way up there, and then it was- holy moly, thats a mountain. Just amazing. I went to Mt. St Helen's as well, which was also just amazing and then stayed up on Mt. Hood in Oregon (above the treeline).
On the ironclads- here is something interesting, I've discovered what I believe to be an old Confederate supply depot on the Cape Fear river. This is where the Confederate Ironclad was used to break the Union blockade of Fort Fischer. I will be going on expedition to determine once for all what I've found on July 10th- I'll take pictures.
Homemade wine? Very cool, remember the still we had? More later. Good to hear from you. Moving is intense. You feel that unusual out of place feeling for a while and somewhat exhausted. I'll send you some positive energy to help out.
Happy birthday to your son- hope he's like you are.
One more thing- on Bigfoot. As I understand it they like to be left alone and are pretty private creatures. They do not like loud noises, and they hate the smell of barbecue. So if they get close to the house, just cook something up and they will go away.
DZ- Thanks for the positive energy its always welcome. Cool info on the ironclads. You must of caught my original post that was really long before I deleted it. So to clear up what DZ was responding too was... On my 45min to 55min drive to work I see Mt. Rainier (going south) and on the way home I see the Cascade Mountains (going west). It makes commuting more like sight seeing. I bought my son a couple of models of his favorite boats the Iron Clads. I also bought my self an RC helicopter. Way cool by the way. Luckily parts are cheap so I stock up until I get used to it. Also I'm glad he liked his models more then my toy. I'm gearing up to make wine. Yes I make my own. My wife calls me the wino. There are worst things. Of course she doesn't drink alcohol so 30-40 bottles at a time is all mine. (insert dasterly laugh here). At one time I had 4 batches stacked up for the holidays. It did take me a year and a half to drink them all. My house has a big deck and the other night there was a long strange unrecognizable moaning. When I mean unrecognizable keep in mind I was a zoologist for 12 yrs. So yes Joe I can clearly say that it was not a bear, a moose, a deer or my mother in-law. OK maybe her but not with out knocking on our door if she was in the area. We have had eagles fly over our house, deer crossing the road and the previous owners said there was a bear in the yard at one time years ago. Where we live now its very quiet. We can't see our neighbors and we all like it that way. Well I can check on here when I'm at work but my home life is still in boxes and still absorbing our new digs. Its about the only time I get at the moment. I had my cousins over a few weekends ago and shown them the blog those lovely pics of us when we were better looking and younger. They asked where all my hair went. I just pointed at my wife. There are bigger things to worry about in life then receding hair lines or what ever. --no plugs, drugs or rugs on this head. Well I'll try to be better getting on and keeping up. Things are starting to slow down and i'm starting to get into the routine of life. So that pretty much covers the original post that I removed.
First, can you send some positive energy to my girl Sandy.
She's had it rough this week. Turns out 3 of the junior attorneys she works for colluded aganst her, making up lies in an effort to get her fired. Which did not happen thank God. Thanks to a perfect record of reviews going back ten years. Even positive reviews by the very same scums that tried to pull this. Throwing them off MT Rainier would be too easy for these dirt F****** scum.
Anyway, second- I hope you find something tangible. That would be awesome. Can't wait to see the pictures.
Sorry to hear that about Sandy. I'll do an OM Chant for her. It works all the time. Tell her not to eat any red meat for 24 hours and stick to watermelon. And you my brother, you need watermelon for 48 hours. Really, its a huge spiritual cleanser, It will help you to think clearly about what happened and what to do next. Pre-emptive strikes are the nature of lawyering, but just like at Pearl Harbor, they did not sink the carrier fleet (i.e. she did not lose her job) so now she needs to do some Island hopping before nuking the home Islands. Dont let it ruin your weekend. Always ask- what's the worst that can happen?
Once, in business, I heard tell of a guy that almost got fired by a lie twice told. In retaliation, he unscrewed the light fixture in the culprits car and put bacon bits in the fixture and put it back all nice an neat. So every time the guy had the door open and the light on, it would heat up and smell intensely like cooking bacon. The guy could not figure it out and after a while had to sell the car at a loss. How funny is that?
Ed, you have Bigfoot for neighbors? That is so cool. Well guys, Me and Melissa are going on our 1st vacation in 3 years. We're going to Ocean city, Maryland for a few days, then on to Smithfield, Virginia to see my brother-n-law and family. We be back on July 13th. Have a good week, guys.

I figured I would get it all out at once since I don't know when I'll be able to jump in again.
......next time it may be longer...

I would pay extra for a car that smelled like bacon.
