Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Hey Bob, are you a state trooper? If so that would make sense to me as I remember we were always conducting some sort of adventure that required gear- compasses, maps, canteens, flashlights, etc.,

Hey Bobby, long time my friend. Good to see you here, and I'm finally not the only LEO (ret) floating around here in this bastion of hooliganism...

Hey Guys,

Steve O, great idea getting all of us nuts back together.

Joe Z., I still run into ESU cops during training classes that talk about your escapades in NYPD.

Dennis Z., How are you doing? This makes me want to get the old GI Joes out.

Steve F., Hows your dad doing? please tell him that i said hello.

To fill you all in, I am currently living in Middle Island, married no kids (Thank goodness). I have been a PO with the NYS Park Police for 15 years. I am currently running the tactical unit. My Mom still lives on Sunrise Ave.

Hey Bob. Nice toy in your photo. My brother has the H&K version.

Yes, GI Joe. You were GI Joe central. I remember the space capsule, the jeep, and the mobile command unit.

Bob, my dad is actually here in Florida visitng at the moment. I'll pass it along.

When i think of your house bobby....i think of the aforementioned GI Joe Command Center, constructing miniture roads in the dirt & grass for our matchbox cars, the carnivals, STP car races, endless fun & bruises playing squimish(we even wore newspaper "pads" for one game), aaaaaand THE VOICE that always came from the corner window...."Robert! Come on in, and tell them to go home"

bummer :-(

I still have bruises from playing Squimish.

Has anyone heard from Anthony Stabile?

Weren't they great. We raced them in front of Stabiles. That big center wheel, and black rip cord.

I remember the year Bob had that ski slope in his back yard, which you were supposed to ski down using those little baby blue plastic ski shoes that were about a foot long. I know skied down on my ass several times before giving up. It was impossible to stand up on those things and the "mountain" was slippery as ice covered in baby oil.
