Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Lets see if anyone can guess the month and year of backyard ice hockey game.

Hey Bob

Nice to hear from you. I'm not sure of the year of the backyard ice rink but I do remember countless days of GI Joe wars in you're back yard. I recognize you, jerry and Anthony in the pics. The bottom one is too fuzzy to figure out who is there.
Again great to hear from you.

That's you and Joe C. in the bottom pic. I'm going to say December '78. You look about 14 and I'm assuming you're my age.

I remember jumping garbage cans behind Jerry's house.... and I remember hitting the last can, and breaking my foot.... With Eddie Loss playing EMT and trying to "fix" it.... His heart was in the right place, and my foot was in a cast for 4 weeks...

Is that a gun? or are you just happy to see us...

I believe the term is "BFG"

Send that first picture to ESPN.

Yeah, last picture i'm going with you and Joe C also, and the storm of '78 would make sense.

Stabile and i were Dallas Cowboy fanatics back then. I have since grown up to BIG BLUE!!!!

Is that your bedroom your in with Jerry? I see a tape recorder. Were you doing a lttle NSA taping?

Anthony had some great hair. In hindsight he could have worked it into a great Patrick Swayze doo, or maybe a Doobie Brothers quaf. Ah the 70s.

Last picture- maybe T. Haltigan to the right?

Thats me and Joe C. playing hockey in my backyard in February of 1977.

Has anyone heard from Anthony Stabile at all?

I looked up Anthony's address on a search. Info seemed correct. Said he lived in Massapequa. Sent him a letter via snail-mail a few weeks back. No response. Can't see why he wouldn't want to join in on the festivus with the restofus. Perhaps i can dangle a little dodgeball with his name on it.

Steve,
Send him another email inviting him to a game of squimish. No way he could refuse that.

Tell him if he doesn't show up, the pantyhose monster is going to beat his ass again.

Yes, A.S. played "tourist/victim number one" And R.O.S. played "tourist/victim number two"

What was funny about that film was how we kept changing outfits like we were Monty Python or something. Steve's the monster, Jerry's the monster, I'm myself, now Jerry's me... damn those sweatshirt sleeves are short on Jerry.

Funny thing is Joe, it happened again in an Inwood parking lot. Didn't recognise those cops either!
