Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!
This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

lightning strike... too close.
I came across this yesterday and thought I would share with you this little gem. Wait til the last second for the best part.
Ed, that is the best lightning video I have ever seen. You'll note that the lightning strikes almost excactly in the same spot it did before. Also, the first strike actually spills over from the tree, but the second one- you are lucky not to have felt that. You note how the electrical discharge- the pulse, is so close it is actually picked up by the camera- that's amazing.
My wife yelled at me to get in. Then she asked if the life insurance was paid up. Now thats some lovin' right there. Its only a few hundred thousand volts---again.
We laugh every time we see it. Yes Josh that's my house in RI. I think it was a couple years ago. Since the big RV is in the shot it had to be in '06. For a while I had the feeling of sitting in front of an old microwave-- you know that heavy chest feeling. I'm glad thats all I got out of it.m

I thought i saw Bigfoot.
What an awesome video! That last crack was wild just watching it on a 2 inch screen. Hmmmm, it's funny that the video ends after that one;-)
My mother would have us gathering in the hallway for a storm like that. Just out of devilish spite, would go outside with a pointy umbrella.
Why is it that women repel away from the lightning, and men seem to gravitate towards it?
Isn't that your house from RI?
I was playing the last few seconds of the video for the kiddies. THEY LOVED IT!
