Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Marshall, Will and Holly

I watched four back-to-back episodes of "Land of The Lost" last night. It was awesome. At one point, Will and Holly decide to save Cha-Ka from "Grumpy" by throwing spears. At first, Marshall half heartedly objects, but then he becomes so concerned he almost convulses. And he was so convincing on the second take, they used it twice- how positively unusual. Also, Will has tendencies to completely overreact to minor situations, but is sometimes distant and removed when they are being attacked by Sleestak. The juxtaposition of emotion is unique. Also, Cha-Ka's parents are really, really annoying.

I recall the actor, known simply as "Wesley" in the first season credits, could whip up some tears and cry for no reason at the drop of a hat.

This show had the unusual distinction of having one of the first artificial languages. It was a novel concept at the time and Star Trek The Motion Picture's unveiling of the Klingon language came a few years later.

I think it's funny that in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" Will Ferrell played a character called "Marshall Willandholly." And now, in the big screen version of Land of the Lost the character of Marshall will be played by Will Ferrell.

Shit like that makes me laugh.

And always remember that AFFLECK WAS THE BOMB IN PHANTOMS, YO!

I also remember dating a girl called Janice with what we deemed a "high forehead" and Danny C and Brian K called her Chaka.

Guys can be so mean.
