Thanks for the headsup. I have been looking into local sitings. It sounds like the closest place and active is in Indianolo, WA out on an Indian reservation. The last siting was in July. There is one man who is in charge of the reservation forest that seems to see them constantly down by the water. He has been on the history channel or one of those. Several people have had sitings also in the same area. I would be excited just to find a track.
There is "bigfoot coffee" here. At least we know how they make a living now. ;-} All kidding aside there are quite a number of sitings here on the peninsula.
O'h looking at the site further there are some sitings in N. Carolina. Check for local sittings here: http://www.bfro.net/gdb/#usa
WA state has the highest. There are theories that they prefer wet climates. Well I have time to seek.
I looked at this. This is quite interesting.
Cool site Ed. How lucky are you to live there. I was some what surprised to see New York had 92 sitings. That looks like more than half the states. I was completely SHOCKED that the Bronx, Nassau, and Suffolk had zero ;-) My loss.
