Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

The Tradition continues.....

When on vacation in New York four years ago Katherine got a stomach bug. It wasn't pretty, and on the way back to the hotel, I got a fleeting glimpse of the Rockerfeller Center Christmas Tree... then it was gone. On our cruise three years ago, Katherine got a fever and threw up, causing Dolly to miss most of Labadee. I had to be strong for Steven, and so I went. Earlier this year, Katherine boarded a plane for St Louis and got a massive painful ear-ache that rendered her deaf for three days. Now, in London, Fever Girl strikes again! After a day a Buckingham Palace and a nighttime concert, she is currently in bed, trying to sleep it off. I hope she gets better and can enjoy the rest of her trip. Poor kid.

Well, she called this morning to tell us she was at the top of the London Eye, so it sounds like she's feeling a bit better.

So thats what they mean by home sick.

Glad to hear that she is feeling better. She will have plenty of time to sleep it off on the way home.

She marched in the parade today. I was not able to find a broadcast of it anywhere here in the US. Oh well.

Sounds like she's better. I love London. Everywhere you turn is history. They have these little plaques on buildings that say things like- Jonathon Swift lived here, or Lord Tennyson wrote such and such a poem here. Its all very cool.
