Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

Last Night at BB Kings

Last night I got to see Ricky Skaggs and Tommy Emmanuel at BB Kings in Manhattan. It was an unbelievable show with Tommy Emmanuel stealing the show hands down. Being a professional musician, it was a complete joy for me to be in the same room as these talents. I managed to get back stage passes through another rock star buddy of mine, and when I walked into the green room, Tommy Emmanuel was showing Ricky Skaggs how he played a tune on guitar. I got to see this from 3 feet away. Simply amazing.
Rickys bluegrass band is called Kentucky Thunder and is amazing as well. All these gentleman were terrific and there was no ego trips and the conversation was easy and enlightening to say the least.... Thats why I love contry music...
