Calling all Prospect Place/Court and Sunrise Avenuers!

This is an attempt to connect with people from long, long, ago. Perhaps the connection will last one simple paragraph, never to be heard from again, or reignite to last a lifetime. Who knows. I just think it would be fun to catch up with people that share so many fond memories from childhood and beyond. Some of us already do still keep in touch. While some might be content to keep the past in the past. Either way. Lets see what happens.

My Dinner with Zog

How do you catch up on 23 years in just 4 hours? You don't really. But you can't say we didn't try. I think I can say that staring across the table after all this time was a surreal experience for both of us. What followed was a rambling free association fever dream of geek comments, nostalgia, movie references, very strange revelations, and a close encounter in the bathroom with a man henceforth known as Dick Pincher. I had a great steak and a great time, but sadly, I'm out a bag of clothes. I forgot to bring my camera but Dennis took a couple of i-Phone pictures. Maybe he'll post them when he gets back home.

We did talk about Defender and Pachinko, although Steve only remembered Defender.

Nick. There were days I thought that guy would either attempt to murder us or simply have an aneurism right there on the spot.

Excerpt from "The Further Adventures of Dick Pincher".

Dick Pincher was a hard man. Rigid. Unyielding. Unbending. But a hard man like Dick was a good find. He was single minded of purpose and once unleashed, would perform his task to completion.

Dick was part of a secret unit that had shrunken over the years to but a handful of members, leaving only Dick and his cohorts Slim Johnson, Rod Woody, and Willie Twigg. Even Dick's mentor, the legendary Harry Balzac, had met his end in the deadly struggle against General Wang and his gang of Yakuza assassins. Thirsting for revenge, Dick wanted nothing more than to get his hands on Wang and choke the life out of him.

Master Pincher was not a member. He was arrested Wednesday, as was another. Apparently a popular place for baters. Ghosts appear and fade away.

Also, someone fell from the second bridge after you left, not the blue one; the one you crossed; but the other near the train trestle. They raked the bottom, but to no avail.
